THE BOWIE ALUMNI - GERRY LEONARD, MARK PLATI & STERLING CAMPBELL Q&A

Sunday February 11th between 1.30 - 3.30pm

RCSI, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2.

We are delighted to host this fantastic panel discussion with three key Bowie alumni, as they kindly take time out from their busy schedule performing in the Bord Gais Theatre to tell us about their life and times with David. NYC native Sterling Campbell has been the backbone of Bowie’s music since the late 90’s (as well as drumming with The B-52’S and Duran Duran) while Dubliner Gerry Leonard joined Bowie’s band in the early 200’s and quickly became his trusted Musical Director and on Bowie’s 2013 comeback album The Next Day, a co-writer. New Yorker Mark Plati, co-produced Bowie’s foray into drum & bass on Earthling and his retrospective album Toy, which revisited Bowie’s 1960’s material. Plati was also Bowie’s Musical Director in the late 90’s/early 2000’s and played bass, guitar and keyboards on many Bowie tours.
